Caller: visa and mastercard visa transaction for online shopping a transaction of $1336 has been made on my visa card do I want to cancel it? they seem to want to access my phone or computer and want to connect a remote app to give them control to cancel transactions. I told them my phone was an analog phone and wasn't connected to the internet.

Caller: Caller initially claimed to be from Amazon then confessed to being a scam caller Female caller asked for me by name and stated that my Amazon account had been used to purchase an iPhone and they needed to cancel the order if it was in error. They had an old email address of mine (which would definitely have been leaked in previous data leaking incidents). She sent a one time password via sms with the title 'Amazon' to prove it wasn't a scam call which looked semi-convincing. When I said that phone numbers can be spoofed the lady became irate and said 'yes yes I am a scammer aren't you so clever'.
