I had a call from the indian sounding guy from this number today - saying that there was $99 purchased from Amazon from my ISN (or ISP?) number and he was just checking.... I said "definitely not" - and then he hung up. Engaged when I rang back

Claiming to be from Telstra and was ringing up about my internet connection (in an English/Indian accent). I'm not a Telstra customer so hung up. Clearly a scam of some sort. Why can't the telcos shut them down.

Caller: Female saying she was from Amazon Just received a call and they left a voicemail saying that my Amazon account was about to be billed to allow continuation of my account. Obviously a scam as i have never had an amazon account or used them.
