Caller: Scammer purporting to be from "Telstra technical department"

Couldn't make out where they were from, she launched into a spiel on how my internet connection was logging errors. When I asked a third time where she was from, she said "Telstra technical department". Scam. Don't have Telstra internet anyway.

Did not answer. Message left on my voicemail saying that my bank account would be charged $99.99 for Amazon Prime Services and if I wanted to cancel to press 1.

Received a call today from a guy with a foreign accent claiming to be from Telstra. He knew my name and tried to offer me a half price discount on my account. I challenged him and laughed telling him I don’t even have an account with Telstra then hung up.

Rang mobile, phone said suspected spam - answered the call and placed it against the computer stereo speaker while listening to music. Gave them a music lesson and then hung up. Number now blocked.

Some foreign voice claiming he got my number from Comsec, I said that is strange, since I don't have any dealings with Commsec, and he immediately hung up. Delay in his responses makes me think this is a bounce through from overseas, as several seconds delay. Phone number now in my blocked list. Definite scammer.

The caller claimed that she is from National Broadband Network and they have been receiving hacking notifications. She asked if I have a computer or mobile so she can show me the errors and warnings. I asked her to read out what the errors were and she said "F*k yourself" and hung up.
