Claimed to be Visa/Mastercard reporting a suspicious transaction on my card. Pressing 1 gets you put through to a call centre where they have Indian accents.
Typical scam.

Recorded aussie sounding voice claiming to be visa mastercard saying online transaction of $1,300.99 has been made scammers getting smart using aussie voices. Still don’t believe them. Another number blocked.

Tried telling me that my NBN had been hacked, told him that I was connected with Telstra, He kept going so I hung up. it the third call from these scam artists.

Silence for 10 seconds then blaring office type background noise and someone said one or two indecipherable words in what sounded like an indian accent then they hung up. Who knows what it was about. Probably a scam.
