Scam Call. Amazon Scam. I don't have Amazon but they insisted I did and that my account was hacked and wanted all my details. I played along but refused any personal information. They even informed me that I lived in Tasmania (I live in VIC) but they could not disclose my address, My name and Date of Birth. I then asked if they knew who I was to tell me my full name as they rang me. They started to get really aggressive, and even swore at me for not giving them my information. I had a spare 30 minutes so I kept wasting there time. They eventually hung up on me but not before they told me I was a a-hole. Hilarious.
What I do want to know is why the telco's don't suspend these numbers out right.
If they are back dooring then there is a security risk to the company that is being backdoored. As I worked in the Network security field. This is something that can be resolved very quickly.

Voicemail left saying its "Vodafone Telecom. Your mobile number is being used incorrectly" followed by Chinese instructions. Obvious scam. Number blocked!

Claimed to be from Telstra, background noise - very crowded call centre sound , and explained that my internet connection was not secure - that I had it on a public server and everyone could see my data. Claimed they would assist me through setting my IP address to private and instructed me to open Google. I asked if they could confirm my internet provider, they stated Vodafone (incorrect) and I asked if they also knew my full name and address as they must have that on my record - they hung up.

I did not answer. They did not leave a message. Seems like a scam call.

Probably a spam call. Doesn’t connect when you ring it back.

Caller: (07) 3521 3002 - Visa/Mastercard

A recorded message informed me that my Visa or Mastercard (Hinging their bets that customers will have one or the other) was about to be debited over $1,000 and to press 1 immediately if this wasn't me blah blah. I hung up but in hindsight I should have played along a bit more to waste their time.

Answered and stayed silent, nothing on their end and call ended after a few seconds. Most likely scam or nuisance call

Said they were from visacard security and were ringing about a suspicious transaction. No mention of a bank.
I just hung up on them and blocked the number

Caller: Amazon????

Rang said did I order a washing machine and I phone on my Amazon account said no and hung up. They then rang back on a different number and asked why did I hang up and did I order a I phone and I pad. Told them it was a scam and hung up.Then got 2 more calls from 2 different numbers which I didn't answer. First call from Brisbane and next three from Bowral in New south Wales. Travelled well in a total of 5 minutes. Need to sell their way of travelling instead of trying to scam people!
