This foreign guy phoned first on my Mobile which I did not answer and then on my Landline. He claimed to be from AGL and wanted to know if I was aware of all the benefits I can get from the government and then wanted to check my account......No thanks, my account is just fine! I hung up.

Definite Scam

Caller: Hoax

This was advised by AGL in Jul that hoax callers were calling. AGL have advised they will not call anyone in regards to bill relief. They already have everything completed and certified to pay accordingly.

Caller: Said it was AGL

Caller was very hard to hear but said he was from AGL.
He asked to confirm who he was speaking to.
I said you phoned me so you should have that information.

Then asked me if it was a convenient time to speak to me . I said no and he hung up.
Pretty sure this was a scammer and number has now been blocked.

Caller: AGL maybe?

This number called me twice. I answered once but couldn't hear what they were saying. I did hear 'AGL'. I hung up. I ignored the second call.

Rang twice, which is annoying, I don’t know this number
.I answered then got quiet, I’m sure this is a scammer.

There was no CID and I did not recognise the Brisbane number. I do not answer this type of call.
