Exactly the same story today (24 June). Qld number claiming to be Australia Post in Melbourne.

She left a message which I don't really understand. She mentioned my business name so I guess it is about my business. She left a number to call back but it was 03 number and I was not able to get the whole number so I click the "return this number" function then it shows different number which is (07) 3497 3740. Now I blocked this number. Thank you for all to spend your time and leave comments.

This number is actually for Australia post, not a scam. Went through with the call, they ask questions about your business and then will send an email with information on shipping that’ll suit your business. I asked about the QLD number, the calls go though their main office or something but it’s completely legit, hope this helps!

Received a call from this number (07) 3497 3740 saying something about a car accident or personal injury and for me to make a claim its a scam

woman called from brisbane asking to return call about options for my business. Block the number - it is likely a scam

Scammers claiming to be Aussie Post - BLOCK the number and don't give them any details.

Same as everyone above - caller knew I had a PO Box and tried to get info out of me about my business. HELL NO. Thinking they must be getting names & numbers from delivery/packing slips on parcels delivered to the box as my business doesn't have a website and I'm certainly not in the habit of giving my full name and phone number out. Number has been blocked and I'll be reporting this to Aust Post ASAP.

Only gave a few rings. No message left - blocked.

Brisbane number, claimed to be Aust Post, knew our Company Name, stated there were savings that he didn't want us to miss out on. Terrible English, totally mispronounced our Suburb and told me the call was being recorded for coaching purposes (yeah, how not to be successful in trying to scam). Told him we were not interested and hung up.

Wanted to know about a previous business I had register and PO Box. I assume they are contacting people from the public information with the business name register.

received a call yesterday, they promote new services among PO box holders, I've signed up with MyPost Business account. It's on auspost website. and got 30% discount for 3 months shipping.

Is actually Australia Post, got my business signed up for some excellent services and actually currently saving a lot of money on postage. I asked about the Brisbane number as I was a bit worried too, they told me their head office is in Brisbane and all calls are run through their VPN, the office they are calling from is in Melbourne, I asked for an email to verify that they were in fact from Australia Post, and low and behold, and Australia Post email came my way. You guys who think it's a scam are genuinely missing out.

thank you to the comments left by others. I didnt answer as even though it was a legit? number, i didnt know it. never left a message which led me to here to see if any others had received calls. I have now blocked.

I had the same, twice in a week. She left message and said to call Holly. When I did "Holly" said not her must be another. A week later another girl. Wrong name, she gave me wrong PO box number, asked to speak to the supervisor, wasn't one. Then today iI had fun. Phone on no caller ID, I conducted my own discussion. Oh dear. She wasn't happy with so many questions.

Asked me to call a Melbourne number to see what others services they offer and discounts available. The call was generated in Brisbane.

Said they were from AusPost and want to talk to me about my Mail Box and to save me some money. Told the female caller that if they knew my details then email me their proposal. They said they couldn't, and I told them that I did not wish to continue the call and hung up. Will block number.

Just got a call today...wanted to know about my PO Box and if I was interested in special offers...smelled fishy

Caller claimed to be from Australia Post and to call back on a Melbourne number as there was a problem with my account. There isn't, and I'm not calling back either
