Caller type: Scam call
Location: Australia
Caller: Emma from "Claims"

"Emma" with a strong subcontinental accent wanted to talk to me about my claim for a "recent car accident" which I have not had. Second call from a company like this. Disgusting.

Knew my name, and claimed to be regarding smart home rebates. Also delayed, from an Indian call centre.

Today a call from (07) 3472 8310. Phone says Suspected scam so not answered no message left. Yesterday it was (07) 3472 8317 the day before (07) 3472 8312. A definite pattern here. Not recommended to answer. Blocked these numbers.

Caller type: Unsolicited call
Location: Australia
Caller: I don't know

Whoever rang, the phone number came up as being from "Ipswitch". She didn't say anything for a while. There was noise in the background. Then pretended that the phone connection was bad. She asked "Are you there ..." and gave my actual name. She said that again, and then hang up. When I rang this number, Telstra's automated message was "The number you have called is not connected"
