They called at 5am 6am and 10.35am .

The tone of the call is friendly & professional, and their wording / approach makes them sound like a finance Co you are already dealing with after an enquiry to purchase (eg a car) online (eg from Carsales.)
However it seems this is a cold call generated from a contact list they access by being “affiliated” with whoever you made an enquiry to.
I’m guessing affiliated means “we bought the contacts that online seller generates”?

They ask “if you’re ready to just go through this finance application form” - in a jolly done deal kind of a way….aka…not being upfront / tricky people type approach - carefully worded to not seem like a cold call - which is what it is.

I asked if they had a completed application from me?
(Knowing they didn’t) and they at least came clean.
I was ready to have them confirm info on the application if they tried to BS that they did.
I genuinely didn’t want to miss a broker call who I do have an application with.
Bet they catch out loads of people.
Who knows, maybe there’s a good deal to be had? But I think if the deals were solid, they wouldn’t have to sneak around like they do.
Shame job.
