Received a call in relation to a friend of mind who she said she was trying to get in touch with. Was extremely evasive, refused to tell me what company she was calling from and that it was in relation to a "personal business matter" this doesn't even make sense is it personal or business?! In any case when I said how did you get my details she said it was on a database despite my # being private.

I had posted on this friend's facebook account this week so presumably they stalk social media and then work from there. Do not divulge any information to this underhanded scum.

Just got a call from this number and Google it , which sent me here ,

This number refuses to advise who they are, unless they confirm who I am on the phone.

Got a message to call back "Max Warren" regarding a "personal business matter". Called back and advised Max I got a missed call but he had no record of calling me. I was very polite and patient and mentioned my first name and business name and he still couldn't figure out why he called me. He mentioned they were a collections agency and he would call back if he figured out why he called me! Being an extremely busy small business owner like a lot of other folk I don't appreciate this annoying and quite frankly intimidating distraction, not to mention lack of professionalism. I have zero debts (don't even have a business loan) and have no one who owes me money either. If he calls back I won't be as polite or helpful.

I had this exact call this afternoon, saying her name was Fayth Pona, asking about a friend, saying they saw we were connected on social media. She asked if I was in contact with him, she had tried to get onto him, and had left messages. She didn't ask for any details, but wanted me to get onto him and get him to call her back. She kept saying it was about some private business matter..

No message left - nUmber now blocked. Thanks guys..

I don't answer mfs with weird numbers. Especially from interstate.

Sarah Bauer trying to find one of my relatives - using a very convoluted and illogical chain of fb friends. When pressed was unable to give any details about why she wanted to contact said relative - issue of extreme sensitivity yada yada yada. Any legitimate business would have been happy to provide plausible details whilst still maintaining confidentiality.

I got call from a private number that said they were looking for my nephew. They left a name and number but he does not know them. I suspect it's debt collectors looking for my other Nephew.

Got a email from my previous employer they called there looking for me. Thank God they didn't give any information about me but emailed me her details I am suppose to contact an Emily Dawson on it. Im pretty sure that'd not only invasion of privacy.harrassment n stalking being done there. I have emailed them back sating to tell them never to contact them again or they will be charged with harassment. Bet they don't ring then stupid idiot spammers.

Voice Message left on my phone asking to speak or get in contact with a family member, when I called a girl by the name of "Carmen" answered and said that she was dealing with a private matter in QLD and she needed to speak to them. I asked her how she knows me, she said that they had listed me as a contact person. Wanted their numbers I said no and she wanted me to pass her details over. Sounded very strange....

Recieved a call from an Emily Fletton (07) 3422 6675) asking for one of my friend's mobile number. She said she got my number from Facebook which is rubbish because it's private on Facebook and I have a pre-paid phone so not sure how she got my number...? DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION!

Got a call from this number today. Went to voicemail and Thomas left a msg wanting me to call him back. 100% debt collection agency

Voice-mail was left by a female asking me to call Emily. I think these guys are debt collectors.

Called the salon i work at looking to contact one of our old hairdressers regarding a personal matter, I told him i couldn't pass his details on and he gave his name as "Ashley Quinlan" and requested I pass his details on to the hairdresser and I said I would. When I requested his Email Address and business name he said he couldnt provide these as they would comprimise the privacy of the matter. I warned the hairdresser about contacting him. Be wary as I imagine his intentions are not Kosher.

got a msg left on phone from this guy "ash" and he also called the ppl nextdoor and was asking if i live next to them and asked the ppl next door to wright me a not to call him thoufgt it was a bit suss so looked here first
