This guy is so annoying , constantly calling for no reason !! He ended up calling my best friends brother asking for my number and address and when he refused to give them too him he tried to say it was a family emergency. This guy is relentless and so unbelievably rude. How dare he contact people I don’t even see or know for that matter. If I had debt I’d be happy to pay , alas I don’t , so if this number calls don’t answer.

This person called my work place asking for me but wouldn’t say anything but his name is Sam how the hell am I meant to know who you are if you don’t leave me details to contact you back. Wouldn’t tell our receptionist where he was from or even if it was a personal private matter nothing.. I am very concerned no one has even tried to contact my mobile at all.

Got a call from a Joseph on (07) 3422 6576. Looking for a person I had never heard of. Before I answered I asked what firm he was from and why and how he got my details. Very very evasive just telling me it was a sensitive matter. I was concerned as to how he obtained my details and he just told me that they had a large data base and my details were on that. I was concerned about my details linked somehow to a person I had never heard of, so could not assist in any case. Very deceptive behaviour and immoral in the manner that they go about their business

Caller: Debt collector

Same as all other comments. Have called my husband me. My mother in law sister in law father in law. Knew information a debt collector would never know. We haven’t answered. Other family members did and regretted it as said info they shouldn’t know untrustworthy idiots we don’t owe anything so stop trying to scam people

Someone from this number called my elderly mother about 7.30pm wanting information regarding another person. They were quite insistent and my mum, who is hard of hearing, had difficulty understanding what they were on about. They persisted and asked her to write this number down to pass on to the person they were looking for. By the end of the call she was quite confused and distressed. She gave me the number and when I rang I spoke with a David who was quite evasive, wouldn't give me name of company, said the matter was of a 'sensitive' nature, I told him we couldn't help with his enquiries and asked him not to ring my mother's number again, due to her age and frailty. He said he'd make a note on their records.

Complete scam, owe no money debt free. These pricks call all day and have called family and friends... I DONT OWE ANYONE MONEY SCAMMERS!!! How do I get them to stop?

They phone me asking if I know someone, was a friend of mine, asked me for his number and when I said no, they asked me for his wife's number, still said no even asked me for their address. Told them to send me the details and will pass it on, not sure how they got my details, she kept on changing subject when asked how she got my number. Phoned the number and got to some debt collection company, they don't seem very legit, if you are a debt collection company your client would have all the details for the person in question...

Got a call from this guy looking for a old flatmate of mine from 4 years ago. He wouldn't tell me how he got my phone number or what it was about.

Ash Haythorne rang looking for my son. Asked for a message to be passed onto him and he will ring me back in a couple of weeks. I have blocked the number given and also a mobile number above in another message. Hope I don't hear back from the smooth talking guy.

99% sure they are debt collectors, demanded I give out a certain someone's phone number - when I asked where they were calling from they wouldn't say - very persistent

Received a call asking when I last saw my son as 'Shaun' was wanting to get a message to him. Did this in a 'blokey' 'we're mates' kind of way. Once I asked who was calling and what the message was I got the 'personal business' line. He asked if there were any friends of my sons, and asked me if I could confirm I would pass the message on. No chance, and I declined his request to call me back to see if I'd passed a message on. Googled the number, and came up with this site. I called 'Shaun' back to advise I'd come across this site and he was either a crook or deceitful and never to call me again.

If you have received a call from this number for a family member regarding a personal business matter it is likely your family member is in debt and may potentially be taken to court. It would be wise to pass along all messages were possible to ensure your family member knows about this matter and can prevent any further negative impacts on their credit file/legal enforcement avenues.
Ask yourself what you would do if your family member deliberately withheld information about you that could have prevented this?

Same as everyone else here. Natasha Russell called looking for a person and would not give her own details or the company she worked for just that it was a "personal business matter" that she needed to speak to a certain person about.
