I got a call from this number yesterday afternoon saying they wanted to confirm my details in my super fund. I got suspicious when they gave me the wrong information about myself. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION its some sort of scam

A Pom

I'm a pom living in Melbourne. Had a call tonight from (07) 3335 5599, which looked to me like (07) 3335 5599 which is exactly the format of a UK mobile phone number which confused the hell out of me. They also called the land line but didn't leave a message. I guess this is because the auto-dialer that most outbound marketing call-centres use isn't programmed to - this just adds to the annoyance.I was with Recruitment Super for about 3 months only, when I was contracting about two years ago. This was a timely reminder to leave the fund tomorrow!I'm glad I Googled it and found you guys too :)

I am under the complete suspicions that this number is used in a generic basis to identify individuals.

I will not provide additional information, however I can say this.... Be very unclear on how you speak with your personality.

Also, if you are targeted by these types of callers. Be honest, smile, then tell them something that doers not make sense.

No such thing as free money these days!

Got a call from this number this avo.  Why don't those penisheads leave a voicemail??   Sick and tired of being placed on hold speaking to some currymunchers.

Tanya

its regarding lost superannuation - they are calling you because  you have money sitting in a superannuation account that has not been accessed for a long time.thats what mine was about anyway - i gave them a few details to confirm and they gave me my super account details so i could roll the funds over into a current super account.i was extreeemely critical at first but they are trying to do the right thing by you!

Yep, because businesses who call thousands of numbers are going to be infuriated by the price of one call! They will lean indeed.
