Caller: RSPCA Fund Raising It's legitimate. They call every now and then trying to get donations to help keep the kennels open. They are polite and friendly. If you tell them you don't want to donate they are understanding. If you do donate they are very grateful.

would be more respectful and courteous to speak to us when they make the call - they disconnect as soon as you answer

interestingly enough though you to googled the number to find out who was calling. We may not own the lines but we do pay for them and our privacy. So how about you get off your high horse you hypocrite and stop bagging others that don't wish to be annoyed by unknown calls the same as you obviously don't like being annoyed by them. As for telling someone to put their phone on silent they may need to hear it. They may be on call for work. They may have someone seriously ill and need to be contactable at any time. Mind your own business

(07) 3317 0623 is the RSPCA Queensland outbound fundraising number. It rings twice and then goes into an automated message. They also invite you to call 1300 785 208 if you require more information.

It's just a phone call. You don't own the phone lines dear heart. You pay your telco for the privilege to use THEIR connections. Get off your high horse and pull your head in. there is never anything wrong with helping a charity, and if you don't want calls to wake you up the smart thing to do would be to switch it on silent or off when you sleep. it aint rocket science
