I received a phone call from (07) 3305 1995 on my unlisted private phone number and when I answered he said he was from Telstra saying that I had issues with my internet. When I asked him for a number to ring him back on he gave me a different phone (03) 9028 7646. This looks like a scam to me.

Received a phone call from this number today. It was a man with a very heavy Indian accent telling me he is calling from the Commonwealth Bank as they had put a ‘security hold’ on an overseas transfer out of my account that had been attempted 3 times in the morning. I asked him questions and his only response was that he couldn’t answer them because it was a security risk. Wanted bank account details to check for the transfer 🤣🤣. I told him I’d go into a branch to check at which point he laughed and said I need to deal with him as he represents the Commonwealth Bank. I hung up.

Phone call on my landline from this number. It took me a few rings before I was able to answer the phone. I heard a strange beep like sound after I said hello then the caller ended the call. From the other posts I think this likely scammer connected with someone else before me.

Silent for a few seconds and a nervous hello. Sounded like he thought I was a cop.
