This is Virgin Australia.

I appreciate Virgin's flights and service, but these constant up-sells are particularly annoying -- especially as I've been unsuccessful in getting them stopped.

Rang twice asking me about an upgrade from Brisbane with Virgin, which is concerning as we’d just returned from Queensland BUT we DID NOT fly with Virgin. Obviously a scam. Best avoid!

Called at 8pm at night so I didn't answer. Can't be anything legit at that time of night!

Everyone is lucky being offered upgrades, I was downgraded with trivial compensation and a changed flight :/

Got a call from a lady (not a robot) insisting that I should upgrade my flight. Mentioned that if I pay more, my seats are "guaranteed". How's that - so the trip I paid for is more like gambling, and if I want to be sure I have a seat, I have to give them 65 bucks extra??? Preying on people's feelings of insecurity.... very, very unethical sales and annoying. I will avoid this company when I have choices which are not significantly more expensive.

Can’t believe this cheap ploy by Virgin. Totally unethical and seedy.

Got a message about upgrading to Economy X, price sounded to good to be true and they would only take payment over the phone, went through with it, they emailed new seating through, via the same email as the first booking come through, but I hung up before giving card details and called Virgin direct. Customer service confirmed it was legit, and then done the upgrade there and then. $75 total for exit and extra leg room for my four flights from Adeliade to NZ and back, can't complain.

The voicemail msg said it's from Virgin Australia about my flight i booked. The msg looks suspicious. I expect any important change to my flight will contact me formally in email than via a call

Twice in the same day. I find these very annoying calls. I book my chosen flight and reserve my preferred seat... this should be respected by Virgin!!
