Scam caller - calling because I was “randomly selected” to win a free mobile phone. Don’t give any personal information

QUESTION:
Has anyone recently got a quote from CBD movers? I’ve only started getting these calls after I gave CBD Movers my new number- which no one else had.

Saying calling from Tm mobile with a special offer on a prepaid mobile
Strong accent
Didnt really pay attention said cya and hung up

Hung up as soon as I answered. Being on-call in IT, I answered with my professional voice. lol

Rang my little used mobile at 8.30pm!. Didn't answer it. Obviously a scammer. My security ID'd it as coming from Dunwich (Stradboke Island Qld). Blocked.....

Random call out of nowhere. Went to voicemail for a few seconds however no message was left.

My phone says the number is from Brisbane (Queensland) which isn't even my state.

Claimed i won a mobile I hung up instantly, literally rang again within a minute they tried again I hung up they left voicemail of them breathing into the phone, very odd diffently a scam don't answer.

Scam call - when I answered, it hung up the initial call and dialed them. Female voice with accent then answered, claimed I was eligible for a new, free Android phone. When I asked what town she was calling from, she hung up. Blocked the number.

indians scammers, saying i won a phone for half price. demanding my personal information and bank details lol

Offer of free phone. Sounded like a scam. I hung up on them.

Missed call from this number at 4pm on Monday. Didn’t leave a message. Will block this number after seeing after comments on this page.

Missed a call from this number. Returned call on the number and there was no ring tone before it went blank on my mobile phone screen. So I blocked the number. This is a great site to check what seems to be forever ongoing scam calls.

scam call! phone rang and then hung up the moment I answered, called the number (07) 3187 7386) as was a land line, was told I "won a free Phone"
said no thanks hung up and blocked number. Interesting the use landline numbers now as well !!!

SO why hasn't the provider closed this number down. The business's want us to go completely digital but certainly have not thought everyhting out properly.

It's another mobile phone scammer, you'd be a mug if you fell for it.

Scam and asked if I wanted a phone at 15%. I said no and I said stop scamming and blocked the number!

Caller: Female from “T mobile”

I said I didn’t have an account with them and she hung up

Caller was a female from “T Mobile”. I asked “who is that? Have never heard of T Mobile” & she hung up.
Def a scammer. Strange they call from a landline number as scammers mostly use mobile number with no caller ID (or use software to clone a real number ie like banks number etc).

said i won a prize for a new phone, hung up straight after he was persistently telling me to hear him out (told him i wasn’t interested and he said no no just listen, hear me out)
