Caller: Ebay scam with voice recording then indian sounding person Ebay scam saying that someone had purchased gift cards worth $290 and they would help me to cancel the transaction. and elephants might fly the bloody scammers. They also use this number (07) 3171 7631

Caller: Supposedly eBay Not a real person, computerized, claiming to be from eBay telling me it was a confirmation call that my package had arrived. The voice said I had to ring them back to let them know if I wanted it or otherwise $298 would be withdrawn from my account. Never addressed me by name and never gave me an invoice number.
I have never brought anything on eBay and never will. So I doubt they have my account details anyway. So it's a SCAM I'm assuming. They certainly don't have my authorisation to do anything with my bank account.
