Milton Graham will try take your money for old debts. I don’t know how they get the info.. they’re after 2 debts from me. 1 I have no idea what for and another that is over 12 months old. This is not a scam call like some idiots like to make out. If you are being called from Milton and Graham, you probably have a small debt which needs to be taken care of. Owe Toll, electricity, phone bill, that sort of thing. If you ignore it, you'll just get blacklisted. So, be a bright spark and get your finances sorted instead of shoving your head in the sand.

Dear Anonymous, thanks for the lecture but what if you don't owe the money? These 'debt collectors' won't acknowledge the possibility of a billing error even though it is commonplace. Instead they demand proof of the billing error. But even after the proof has been provided they still continue with the harassment. So what advice have you got for the 'idiots' who are being wrongly pursued?

Caller: Someone pretending to be collecting debts

scam, to the idiots above quoting that this is milton graham debt collectors, this is false. Tracing the number back goes to an ip phone number renting company and contacts to the named entity have confirmed that this is not them and is most likely a third party, they try to make it look official by providing reference numbers, but I tested with similar numbers and these were accepted, I was then transferred to a department to handle the issue (because this individual couldn't access my record). That "department" then tried to convince me that my record was corrupted and they needed me to provide full name ,dob, license number, cc number including expiry and cvv. Please just hang up on these scammers, they are just trying to get cc details to strip your accounts or sell on the black Web.

Keep calling but hang up after I say hello. Usually 3-4 times a day for the last 4 days

Hangs up whenever I answered and didn't say anything. Fits with the name harvesting scam others have talked about.

This is false, there is an increasing number of organizations posing as official bodies claiming to be from the ATO or fines enforcement, they try and take advantage of people to swindle money, this is why its called fraud.

One of our office mobile lines has been getting texts and calls associated with this number amongst others for a couple of years now. They regularly change the names used in the text messages and the amounts owed. It seems like most of it is done through an automated system

Caller: Automation

This is a spam/scam number that is used to test whether a target picks up, If you happen to answer with your name e.g "mike speaking". The automated system records that but will often hang up, you'll then be contacted again later on through another number with someone claiming you have unpaid fines.

The number they have been bombarding is a spare work phone that is not associated with anyone in particular or ever used for personal use let alone in the eastern states, I assume their system has pulled the work number from an advertisement as that is what this phone was used for.

I called back number (07) 3154 0394 reached IVR for Milton Graham (Dun & Bradstreet).
