Some Scottish guy asking if I'd been in a car accident. Told him I'd wrote my Maserati off just last week. His reply women shouldn't drive those cars and should only be passengers. Told me he hoped I was barren after I made it clear what a crappy life he must lead having to scam people.... called the number back and it's been reported to the UK Police and been suspended, yet they still call through. Scary thing is they know your name...

Seemed to be a survey, not a scam.
They said they were calling to ask some questions of anyone who had been in an accident in the past 12 months, then went on to ask if that applied to me.

Claiming I had been in a car accident in last 12 months and said there was money ($20,000-$50,000) put aside for me for any injuries caused. As soon as I said I had no injuries they thanked me for my time as hung up.

Answered the phone and an Asian sounding guy asked if my name was "Taryn" or similar, which is not even close to what my name is. I hung up immediately. Scam!!!

Asked if I had an accident recently or if my family had an accident recently. I said no and repeatedly said no. I asked again for his name and organisation he's from and he wouldn't tell me and I could hear the call still connected. I told him I am calling the police with this number.

Caller asking if I had been in a car accident. May be eligible for some compensation. I have not been in a car accident. SCAM alter. These people have called from a number listed as from Cooroy, NSW and Sandgate now. SCAM SCAM.

As above, how is it possible to get a Australian number to use to scam when overseas. Must be a loop hole here for them to do that. If so then it needs to be fixed

Agree with the other posters. This is a total scam. The English lady said she was calling about the car accident that I was involved in 12 months ago. I wasn't in a car accident. I hung up and blocked the number. Annoying!!
