they just hung up, i have been getting multiple calls in the last few months, different brisbane based numbers, asking if i was in an accident, i told them i was 16, don't have a licence or a car! they still continue to call, will block number

no doubt is a scam Spoke to a person by the name of Liam I asked where they are located and claimed he was in Adelaide I asked them how they got my number and he replied that it was from a data warehouse and can not be trusted claimed i must of entered a competition where i gave my name and number but (something i do not do because of just this ) Claimed that i was a) a lier and be that i called him a lier
i asked for the details of the name of the data warehouse and he refused to give me any information or details of that company stating for privacy reasons (funny how they can invade your privacy and then sight privacy to withhold information i then asked for there Postal address to pass on to my legal council and he hung up.

total scam so frustrating keeps calling have blocked now please be careful with this one.

They have called me 4 times this week! When I called back they asked if I'd been in a car accident recently, and when I said 'no' they said that it was a 'system error' that I was contacted.
I have blocked this number.

Caller: claimed to be followup pty ltd

Scammer ask if I was involved in a multi vehicle accident. 3 times, First time I ask him why don't you guys just go find a proper job instead of scamming people around and guy hang up. The next two i just told them to F off.

Received a call from this number & told me it was from National Insurance Company. Told him I don't have insurance & he said oh it can be from house insurance. Told him that I don't have any insurance of any type & haven't for over 10 years. Didn't like that I over spoke him & said that my number is on the do not call register & he couldn't tell me where he got my number from. Very arrogant & call didn't feel right. Don't answer these calls!

My wife received a call from a person who asked for her by surname and when she said yes this is her, he then asked if she'd been in a car accident in the last 12 months. She told him 'non' she hadn't been in a car accident, then the caller hung up. I then called the number back and a person answered (Liam I think) ad I asked him who he was and who did he represent. I told him my wife received a call asking if she'd been in a car accident and I wanted to know where he got her details. He said the company is called "Followup Services" and they call people on behalf of other companies. He apologised fr getting it 'wrong' and offered to take her name off the caller list. I asked if he was calling from o'seas or Australia, and of course he said within Australia. Be very careful with these people they are up to something. Previous posts suggest they are after voice recordings so they can use them to draw fnds from bank accounts however my wife doesn't do phone banking so not sure of their motive.

Call from Liam asking about my recent "accident". I told him that MY insurance provider & the police take care of any claims that I might make. Also offered to transfer his call through to the police so they could assist him. Hung up. BE VERY AWARE. Liam & his English accented cronies are nothing but crooks.

Sandgate location. Caller had a British accent. Asked me if I had been in an accident in the last 12 months. When I said no he hung up.

I had a phone call today from Sandgate area, I did not answer it and I never will answer any phone call which I can't identify.

I didn't answer but I've blocked this number. I don't know what survey or competition I entered to receive this onslaught of phone calls from hundreds of different charity/scam call every week. Getting to the point I want to change my number.

I received this call to my mobile, I called the number back from landline and phone number has supposedly been suspended due to fraud however not sure how they still called me? Comes up as a Sandgate number, I have now blocked them.
