Caller: Indian Scammer Caller pretended to be calling from NBN and wanted to upgrade my line (called on my mobile, not the land line). Caller had a heavy Indian accent and had trouble answering any questions I asked. I played along for a while just for fun and to stop them wasting anyone else's time. In the end they hung up on me. LOL, always good when they get tired of you. Rang back and got diamond Plaza???

Caller: Telstra? Tries to tell me my internet was exposed - haven’t been near my home net (which is switched off as I’m away for work) within the period they were talking about. Could not tell me who my service provider was, etc…
Obviously very scammy sounding!

Caller: Scammer Claimed to be from Microsoft and that my email address was compromised by hackers, then proceeded to direct me to an app - AnyDesk Remote Access - supposedly to stop the hackers but as soon as he started spelling out the app name I smelt a rat. He claimed he was genuine and quoted telephone numbers to try to legitimise himself. I hung up because everything in my being told me scam! Thanks for all who have posted here.

Some one with possible Asian accent called, (not good English) saying they are from Telstra technical department and have i changed internet settings in last few days? Told him he was a scammer and hung up on him. Check who you use as an internet provider, not Telstra and it is a scammer call.
