Caller: ‘NBN’

Scam call from ‘NBN’. Wanted access to my home internet, a ‘security breach’ apparently. Very rude, very abrupt and did not want to hear my story about the videos I have been posting to my only fans account.

Caller: Robocall hangup

The usual robocall that hangs up when you answer. This is for the scammer to confirm your ph number is working. They then onsell your number and/or call you direct with a scam.

User busy when attempting to call back. Potentially related to (07) 3130 4450

Called my number and terminated the call when I answered. I have been experiencing this from a variety of numbers - all interstate numbers.

Had this number call me at 11am (07) 3130 4495 and called back and says thanks for choosing slader and Gordon

Total scammer. Badly recorded Robocall.

Another call that hangs up on the answering machine. I do not bother calling back and just blocked this number

Caller: Scam call

Posed as an NBN employee and wanted remote access to my laptop and mobile phone in order to make my NBN internet service faster.

Do not answer

They are still at it. When I hit the power button and send it to message bank, they do not leave a message. Now blocked. That applies to all calls that do not leave a message.

Caller: some random man speaking in Hindi

Said its about my Amazon Prime account subscription, if I wanted to renew it. I don't have an amazon prime account. Kept saying he has all my details and a hacker is using my my name to create an amazon prime account apparently. Extremely rude and lewd person. Had to hang up on him.

Scam!!! Said it was VISA wanting to know if I authorised a charity payment, they lying 🤥 definitely SCAM

Caller: Alexa from Telstra NBN Internet Relationship Providings

Indian Alexa was very polite and this time chose to do the Telstra/NBN Technical Support Internet Speed Upgrade Scam. Indian Alexa also had no problem eating while on the call, talking to her scam mentor in Farsi mid sentence and starting over her script again mid-paragraph. Indian Alexa wanted to know my internet speed package and asked me to perform a speedtest for her. When I asked if it was OK to quickly put the phone down and move to my PC, Indian Alexa immediately hung up. Indian Alexa has learned how to deal with time wasters.

Caller: 3130 4505

Has tried to call me several times before but I kept missing the call and they left no message. When I was finally able to answer it hung up immediately. I'm fairly certain it's one of those ones to establish whether or not your number is legitimate so they can sell it on to other scam callers.
DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK

No message - glad I didn't answer as obviously a scam.
