FOR ALL THOSE WHO SAY BLOCK THE NUMBER - YOU CANT BLOCK A LANDLINE NUMBER. YOU CAN BLOCK ON A MOBILE BUT YOU CANNOT BLOCK ON A LANDLINE. HOWEVER, YOU CAN BUY A CALLER ID PHONE AND PAY YOUR CARRIER EXTRA EACH MONTH FOR CALLER ID. IF YOU SEE A NUMBER THAT LOOKS ODD OR PRIVATE, DON'T ANSWER IT.

Called today and then later tonight. They don’t leave a message

Caller: supposed marketing call

would not say what the issue was, kept asking personal questions. When asked how it was relevant gave a script response "it's for demographics". Hung up because I felt they were just fishing for personal information to try and sell me something. Suspicious and a waste of time.

Called at 8pm! Didn't leave message. Suspect scammer as don't know anybody in Brisbane.

They keep calling andvwhen answered they hang up. Probably some sort of scam. I've just blocked the number now.

I've had multiple calls from them. I don't know number so don't answer. No message left. Phone noted potential fraud. Just block the number.

I'm on do not call list and they called at 6.45pm i have blocked and reported again

Guys, don’t call them back - if you call the number you get charged. Plus it confirms the number’s valid, which they’ll sell to other telemarketers.
In short: let it ring out, then block the number!

govt survey wanting to speak to young people between 16-24 about whether they intend to study in a tertiary institution next year. I explained that my 16 year old will still be at secondary school and they therefore have the wrong age group as their target...

He said how are you today?
Then he continued but I could not understand what he said it was mumbled then he said I'm from Centrelink Brisbane did you want to ask me something.
Then he hung up.

Same here...had three calls in three days, all about 4pm (WA time). No msg left, rings about four times then stops & no msg. Would agree with other comments above it's an automated dialer.

Called multiple times over a few days. Answered once and nobody spoke but then hung up after a few seconds. Background was loud and chatty. Sounded like a call center selling curry
