Further to my post on 8 March: I notified Q&A and they confirm it isn’t them.

Calls all the time and no message is left - don't answer it

Definitely NOT Australia Post or Q&A. It's an effing scam trying to harvest information, pretending to be... whoever they decide to pretend to be that day to win you over. Australia Post will never call you interstate on an 07 number, unless it's your local post office shop for some reason and you live in Queensland. Don't give these callers any information about yourself, or lie to them a bit for fun.

Got a phone call today claiming they were from the Australian government doing surveys and wanted to talk to someone between the age of 5-17 I scoffed the word no and they hung up.

Sometimes you get lazy people who just ring and drop the call, the company is actually legit, but you cannot call back on that number. You can call back on (07) 3119 8003 to leave a voicemail message.

Definitely spam. Especially since lots of other people have had trouble with this number too.

Caller was silent - no response and held the line open for 57 seconds before disconnecting.

Calls all the time! SPAM! And worse I am not able to block it on my iphone for some reason! Do not answer!!

i've had two calls from this number within an hour and a half. answered the first time with hanging up on other end. didn't answer second time. will block the number on my phone

This number called at 6pm. did not leave a message. Called number back and voice message identified the number is from a research company

As has been written, sounded like a call centre. Noisy conversation in the background, caller did not speak..hung up after I answered.
