To not be called again by a number you don't want, easy. Just click on the phone number in your phone. Click on Options. Select "Add to reject list". Done. Move on. Life is not worth spending more time on this kind of crap.

I'd like to confirm it is Q&A Market Research - I just emailed them my number and demanded to be put on their "do not call" list. 2 or 3 days later, no more calls from them. Email them at info @ qandaresearch.com.au - now I have to find whoever belongs to (03) 9999 2122 and see if I get the same results.

If you're wondering why you still get calls from people like this if you are on the "Do not Call" list it's because there is a massive loophole in that law. If the company calling you claims to be doing "market research" Then that gives them an exclusion from the DNC laws. I learned this from experience as I was researching why I was still getting telemarketer calls even though I was on the list. Eventually I had it out with one company that called me. They explained that they are still able to call me because what they were doing is classed as market research. SO The Do Not Call list is useless

This is a legitimate Australian Research company. They conduct PAID research. I have done a few of theirs. Sometimes they call me to come in to a PAID focus group. ie $100 for 1.5hrs or do an online PAID activity ie $150 for 20 min a day online activity for 5 days. To me these guys are good. They would have got your number because you filled in an online survey and left your details. As far as I know they don't blind call.

I have numerous calls from this number. If I answer, the caller hangs up. WTF? What kind of 'market research is that?

Do not give out any details to these people it is a scam, why else would you ring through a way that the authorities aren't able to trace or prosecute them for harrassing phone calls or fraudulant buisnesses. work all day to come home to someone who has found our number out somehow on the sligh. For those of you who write "just help out" you obviously must have some affiliation with them or have no life.

If you do not wish for Researchers to call simply ask to be taken off of there calling list or to be added to their "Do Not Call Data Base".
If you do speak to someone and say you are not interested they legally are not allowed to call you back. If they do - speak to a Manager.
If they ask to call you back at a better time and you some what agree (ie "if im not busy" or "okay") they will continue to hound you.
