Caller: Bruce

"Bruce" called from something unintelligible Company, to say my phone number had been selected to receive a free cell phone.
I told him this seemed highly irregular given he'd called me on a Victorian State Government issued number.
I asked him where he said he was calling from, he replied "from a cell phone company".
I asked which one, he hung up.
I guess I'm not getting a free cell phone :(

Hung up as soon as I answered. Suspected phishing for valid numbers

A woman from some smartphone company. She spoke the name of the company poorly and I had to ask the name of the company three times. I then hung up. Definitely scam

Hard to understand strong Indian type female voice offering a free mobile phone to join a plan with their telecom company.. The moment I asked what country they were calling from they only said their company name which was not able to be understood due to their hick accent of Indian type woman.. The moment I mentioned SCAM they guickly hung up.. Unable to call back due to saying not connected..

I didn't get there in time and when I rang back got a two note sound and then was cut off.

I received a call from this number saying that I am selected
