I called back number (07) 3112 7918 rang once then goes to busy tone.

Missed a phone call from this number (07) 3112 7918
Tried ringing back but no dial tone. It just hangs up.

Tried calling back went connected the disconnected instantly definitely a fraudulent operation

Scam caller. Says they are calling from ‘mumbled company name’ on behalf of UNICEF. Have had the same call from 3112 7903, 3112 7908, 3112 7913 and 3113 7885.

Caller: Fran from a phone company.

I got a missed call from this number. I called it back. This number was coming from someone in Brisbane. She said her name is Fran and wanted to offer me a phone. I told her that she is in Brisbane and I am in a different state. Asked her how she got my number she couldn't tell me. I hung-up on and blocked her number.

Phone catergorised it as spam. From NFP charity fund looking for donations

Anonymous, I’ve had several messages recently starting with 07-3112, clearly all from the same call centre. I just don’t answer them...

Had 6 missed calls now and when called back Could not get through. 6 calls. Really? 🙄

Just hung up as I don't know that number.

Caller: UNHCR

I answered the call because at a glance i thought it was work. It was a call centre saying they were calling from UNHCR. I said i was working and am already a supporter at $40 / month so they might as well not ask for any more money otherwise why would they be calling (i get mailed their newsletters so i know what they've got going on). She said she'd catch me another time and I've blocked the number.

When I tried to call back from a state government work phone, the call would not even connect at all, immediately disconnected.

Caller: Unicef - possibly fraud

Didn’t appear legitimate. Sound of traffic in the background, not call centre noise.
