Caller: (07) 3112 7755 Called to say I got drawn for a free phone. Lady with an accent. It seems she’s trying to get me to say “yes” or “ok” so beware of what you say. All I said was “hello?” And “for what” then the lady hung up. Definitely a scam

Called to say my phone number has been randomly drawn to win a mobile phone. Foreign accent as usual. Made her repeat what she said while I googled the number. Said the exact same thing word for word, reading from a script most likely, so I hung up. Do not give these people your details at all. Just hang up. Better yet, tell them to f*ck off and hang up. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
