When this un answered phone number didn’t leave a message I phoned back and a recording said the number wasn’t in use. Very strange so I’ve blocked it.

Yet again this number is used by the Telstra scammers! Random Brisbane number is hardly corporate!

Claimed to be from Telstra saying my ‘vpn was now public’ and wanted to continue the useless conversation. I hung up as I am not with Telstra.

Scam. Blocked.

Telstra internet speed scammers

Called twice but when I answered there was no answer. The call ended after a few seconds

Lady called and said she was from Telstra. Was asking about my internet details ect…. Told her I would call Telstra directly and she hung up… definitely a SCAM

Caller: Overseas scam call centre

Scam Call, knew my first name, Tried to tell me they had cut off my Telstra internet, I don't have any Telstra accounts at all. They hung up on me when I called their bluff

My phone flagged this as potential fraud so I have blocked it.

Twice called by this number saying I had an unsecured internet network, but they couldn't give me any legit way to contact them directly so that i could assess if it was a legit call. When challenged on what they were describing they hung up. Obvious scam call trying to get me to make changes to my phone settings during the call. Hang up and block!

Came up as "suspected spam" on my phone so I didn't answer it.

just tried to call but didn't pick up. it's likely a bot screening to see if you pick up calls from unknown numbers.

Caller: They say they’re amazon

They knew my first name and said they are from Amazon. I know Amazon only call if you ask them to call so it’s likely a scam. I hung up on them didn’t get any more detail.

phoned twice - usual - delay in talking, overseas accent but English name - claim to be NBN and wanting to speed up my internet etc etc - usual scam

Woman rang saying she was from Amazon and had a parcel ordered by me going to New York delivery address. I advised didn't order anything, I live in Australia. I don't have an account with Amazon. Said to get refund I had to log into my account and request closure. Once again told her I don't have an account with Amazon, she said she would give me a temporary password to get into the account. At that stage I told her she was a scam and hung up.

Told me they were from TELSTRA call centre in Melbourne (with a QLD number) and that my internet was compromised.

I have no internet account connected with the number they called from so I kept them on the line as long as a I could - they hung up on me when I sounded doubtful.
