Called wanting credit card details for ATO refund. Obvious scam, as ATO has banking details on file and doesn't use credit cards for refunds.

Said he was from ATO and I had a tax refund of $947.00 when questioned & challenged he hung up. It was obvious scam as the ATO would never contact you.

Called my number early (I'm in WA) which is a giveaway. I returned call as I not answered quick enough. Then started asking me for someone else. When I said they had wrong number, asked for mine as he said there maybe a tax refund for me sitting unclaimed. SCAM

Told him to keep talking as I was recording the call to take it to the police. Strangely, he hung up immediately.

Received called from this number. Said he is calling from Australian Taxation Office, ATO did mistake in calculating my tax return, so I will get refund about 877 bucks. And asked me to provide my bank detail. Scam.

Call back twice. Rang through but was hung out. May be telemarketer.

Wanted bank details to process tax refund going back several years.

I called back number (07) 3102 6563 rang 3 times then goes to busy tone.
