ATO (Australian Tax Office) SCAM , my phone didn't ring, but a missed call and voicemail message came up.I listened to the automated American message saying I will be arrested so I called the number back from a company landline number and they answered! I told them I had a missed call from this numbers and the girl immediately went into a panic on my behalf telling me that if I don't rectify the outstanding tax amount that I will be arrested and sent to gaol. Now if I just gave them my first and last name and date of birth they can help me. DON'T BE FOOLED PEEPS!

I too had a missed call from this number this morning. I figured telemarketers as I don’t know anyone in QLD. But was surprised to see they’d left a voicemail. Curious, I just listened to it and I’m laughing so hard. It was a computerised voice telling me if I don’t call them back they’ll have is issue an arrest warrant for me! Nope, it didn’t say who they were, or why they are going to issue a warrant for my arrest. I most definitely won’t be calling them back. But hey...they gave me a good laugh! Not the most sophisticated scammers.

I called back the number (07) 3102 3275 but the phone just kept ringing

Missed this call. Called back There was a "smudgy" call centre. Classic! They left a message, by the way - a robot voice : '' a reason behind call that there a lawsuit case getting filed under your name ...... the moment you receive this message I need you to get back to me..... if you don't.... etc, ....get back to me ASAP..." Classic as anything! My advice: block this number and report it.
