Caller: Westpac This number is used to call Westpac customers who have a Visa card as Westpac are changing their credit cards from Visa to Mastercard. They're helping customers to make sure they got the Mastercard in the mail. The direct inbound number for this team is 1800 080 003. You can't call this number back as it's only used to make calls from Westpac to customers and not the other way round which is why you should normally get a voicemail to call the 1800 number.
This is NOT a scam call

Caller: Westpac Not a scam.. I've been anticipating a new card to arrive as the expiry is approaching next month. The westpac representive called to check why my new card hadnt been activated yet and if i had actually received it. Turns out it was sent to an old address on file, she gave me three options - go into the branch, call westpac back on their general number or do the authentication process with her.
