Called about a real accident that happened 2 months ago, they had my name, the name of the other party, and the names of both our insurers. They said they were "Claim Buddy - CTP Insurance".

Seemed too good to be true.

Got a call after I had been in a minor accident with my brother, and was asking about him and trying to get his details

Scammer.. talks in British accent that's the only true aspect.. rest all fake ... tries to get all details...

(07) 3073 2441 was the number that contacted me. Knew everything. Pushed the 10k compensation angle.

They would not leave their name when traced it went to an "Accident Help Line"
They started asking for the passenger in the car who was in an accident not the
driver so where did they obtain all this information
As soon they were told the incident had been referred to a reputable insurance company
they hung up. Not the actions of a reputable organisation

Called trying to make claim that I was in an accident and sent me text messages saying I owe payment - was never in an accident and did not have my surname correct and the phone number being contacted was a work phone number recently activated.

weird call about an actual accident asking if anyone else was hurt. supposedly something to do with 3rd party insurance.
