Caller: Some Indian pretending to be an Aussie.

As before mentioned about accident inquiries. When I said, “no, I haven’t had an accident for a few years now, so I don’t know what scam your doing?” He got all defensive and he started saying, “no, I don’t need anything from you.” So I said “well, if you don’t need anything from me, we don’t need to talk.” And hung up.

This scam was around 3-4 yrs ago they were harassing my daughter for months. They changed the number, went to private and blocked numbers. She started saying she would go to police and they would hang up. It’s happening again. I just received a call from a man claiming I’d had an accident and someone had given my number for contact. When I asked for specifics ie location, date, time, police report he was not fazed but said he was unable to give out that info. I suggested I go to my solicitor to sort it he said they had solicitors. Nothing was faxing him. He eventually said he’d note “no accident “ and take my name off their list.

Indian caller said there was an accident and I knew straight away that it is one of those scam calls. Told him there was no accident and not to scam people then put my phone next to the speaker of a movie I was watching. Left it on full blast and when I checked a few minutes later, he had rung off. Have blocked this number.

Didn't pick up as it was an interstate number. Based on comments here, glad I didn't. Number lookup comments from today show the scammer is at it again.

Pretending to be a Telstra representative with bogus claims about internet speed.
I asked the connection speed was, and she said it didn't matter. I then said it did matter, as it was the pretext she was calling me on.
She hung up.

Lady auto voice called about nbn being disconnected. These scams are so annoying, don’t they realise that most people are awake up to them. Stop wasting people’s time and get a real job.
