Number belongs to My Charity Survey. No clue if this is real or a scam

Number came up as +061730734207. Red flag for me! Did some research & found details below. .... talk about Pandora's Box!

just had a call, seemed like a simple survey until I listened to the "call will be recorded for teaching purposes, bla bla bla...

In bla bla I caught a comment along the lines of; that you agree for our charity partners to call you about goods and services..... you can opt out at any time by filling out a form on our website...

No thankyou ! 
But it is just a simple yes and no answer survey
you mentioned charities calling, I don't want unsolicited calls thankyou.
today is just a simple survey with yes and no answers, that is all we require.

Beware, this is a way to get around the do not call register by sneaking in your approval for other people to call.'

Caller ID showed 061730734207 [+61 (07) 3073 4207]. Caller identified themselves as "My Charity Survey". To me, the +61 means the caller was calling from outside Australia ... big giveaway that it is an overseas call centre apart from the heavy accent and audible background chatter. Surveys with yes/no answers? Screw that! The calls are recorded "for quality and training purposes" (my arse they are!) ... once some of these jokers have the sound bytes they want from you they can use them to do whatever they want. Hang up straight away or screen/block calls. They also ask permission for other "...charity partners to call you about goods and services but you can opt out at any time by filling out a form on our website ..." and in doing so give them more personal details thank-you very much! This is how they get around the Do Not Call Register. 'Tis the season to be scammin', Fa la la la la, La la la la!

Dont do the survey as they will get many charities to call you asking for donations.
I made the mistake in doing the "Survey" and I paid the price. Took many months before the calls stopped.

Ring roughly same time each day. First time I answered, no response so hung up. Now reject and have blocked.

This number called me today, when I answered phone, no one speak, I said 3 times " hello", no one responded. That's weird, it's a possible scam.

I also had a call from this number when I answered no one spoke then they hung up

They rang, didn't leave a message - looks suspicious - I get quite a few of these calls

Just received a text message saying I'd missed a call from this number .... Phone hadn't rang and the number wasn't listed in my missed calls! After reading all the other comments on here I couldn't block the number quick enough. Cheers everybody

They call me, I answer but I get no reply for about 3 seconds, then they hang up.

Possible scam. Rang but didn't respond when call answered

Dodgey number, came up on screen with country code doubled up +61 6173074207. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a msg. Has to be a scam.

There was no response from the other end, we sent an email telling them not to call us.

They said they only wanted 2 minutes of my time I didn’t get the name of the lady but she was asking for donations for domestic violence so I said I’ll call you back she then said oh no it doesn’t work like that I sort of had a yell at her and hung up. Beware Dirty Scammers

This time saying representing Next Step, a charity that does care packages for recipients of Domestic Violence. One Off donation this time. I asked 4 times what States they operate in before fobbed off with "everywhere". Absolute siience when said I was subjected to domestic violence. Yes. Me. I won't hit back. " So what States are these care packages available so I can help a daughter?" She just went back to the script. My daughters are fine, but others daughters may not be....

Caller: Said they were from next step fund raising

I just said, "sorry - I don't give over the phone", and hung up. Then saw all the other messages here, so I'm glad I hung up.

When I called the number back they just hung up on me.
