No message left
I didn’t pick up

They said they were calling from Telstra Security Team and that I had hackers connected to my WiFi. They wanted me to connect to their server sing Anydesk to help me.
What they didn't know was that I am a Senior Site Reliability Engineer :-)
Just for fun, I asked them to send me an email from Telstra address for confirmation. For a while they were pretending they sent it, but for some reason I could not get it.
After a while, they said they would call me later :-)
Idiots!!!

Spam call about Australian Broadband Network.

Caller: Someone about getting a better deal with your electricity

Was woken up from sleep after being on night shift. Answered phone, lady on other end said she was apart of some comparison company, she went through some spiel, she then said she would transfer me to her supervisor. I said ok. Man then answered, it started out ok but he became more aggressive in his tone and impatient. I tried to explain that you had just woken me up but he spoke over me. I hung up. I got two more calls from mobile numbers and a missed call from the number above

My phone said Suspected Spam so I ignored.

Caller: Claimed to be eBay

Said they were calling about $400 eBay gift cards to be send to California and asked me to confirm that I had NOT sent them.

Caller: Said they were from EBAY

Scam

Got a call from Chinese Consulate then started speaking in chinese or whatever

Unknown caller - I didn't pick up, and they did not leave a message

Unknown caller - no message left.

Said he was from Telstra and that I had internet security issues.
Wanted to know what I was viewing on the internet at that moment.
Told him he was a scammer and hung up

Said they where from EBay and wold be taking $299 from my account as per a request. I hung up mid speal

Caller: Bank Secure Services

Said they had received a notification that I had made an online transaction of $499 and asking if that was me. I asked them which bank they were calling from and they said they are affiliated with several. I asked why they would have been notified about my online transactions and she got snippy. I hung up.

Caller: Spam Amazon automated message

Automated message saying Amazon subscription due to renew soon, to cancel press one.

yep trying this too. They are saying they are from a chinese gold backed bitcoin... total bullsh*t

I didn't answer but am also getting calls from 0476 154 803 over and over saying they are Amazon... I don't use Amazon. They are also leaving messages with an Aussie accent!

Caller: (07) 3073 1449

Them : Hi I am calling from Telstra, you have a virus in your Wifi. Please tell me the number of devices linked to the Wifi.
Me : If you are from Telstra, you should have that visibility. Could you please provide me more information about Telstra?
Them : You want more information about me or Telstra?
Me : Telstra
Them : I thought you'll be more interested in me.

I hung up.

Missed call & after reading all this, Aint calling back.

I have had many calls this week from Teslstra Broadband and I immediately ask them for my IP address and they hang up.
