Scammers. Calling about non existent car accident

i just got one and he wanted to know the date i had the accident i said well ur ringing me u should know that and hung up lol

At least they let us see their phone number. They tried the car insurance scam on me, and asked ME for details, which is hilarious. Just kept them on the phone for ages, talking about a made up accident. I can only hope the time I spent with them, prevented someone else from getting scammed, because they were not as fun as the "IT support" scammers! Oh well. C'est la vie!

Told them the accident was in fact them, your mother didnt expect to get pregnant... don't think ill be called again

Caller said ringing up about an accident? Suspected it was a scammer as slight delay in reply and sounded foreign - i replied it don't think so and hung up and marked number in case calls again.

Caller: They said it was Ebay

Got a recorded message saying to call back or press one as a fraudulent purchase has been made for an iTunes gift card. Wanted me to confirm an order but couldn't tell me who ordered or what payment other than NetBank but I do not have that.

Calling from "motor accident commission" about an accident I had apparently had. As soon as I told them I was recording the call and I knew it was a scam they disconnected

I also just got a robotic voice saying that they were the fraud investigators for the Taxation Office with no identification saying that there was a law suit against me and that I needed to call back immediately on 61 (07) 3040 8352 or they will issue a warrant for my arrest. Just deleted it so should you.

Robotic voice saying it was the Tax Office and I need to contact them urgently or I will be arrested.

Even though I have a private number,and told them I have already reported their scam, I Had a phone call again from this nunber(about the fourth time this year, sometimes they will use a “private number” . They are a car accident insurance scam call, and when you tell them, you have not been involved in an accident, they ask if anyother family members have been involved. Total scam

Multiple calls, doesnt talk when we answer then just hangs up.

Accident Help Line

Have already had about 10 phone calls this morning from this number and they hang up everytime I answer.
There has got to be something someone can do to stop these dishonest people. These people do not have any conscience.

SCAMMERS. Asked about an accident and tried to narrow it down by asking questions they shouldve already known. she got frustrated and was very unprofessional when i wasn't specific with my answers, which is not a mark of a telemarketer. clearly a scam. do not pick up

This number has called me several times regarding the non existent car accident I had. I asked which accident (making up stories) and funnily enough they couldn't tell me. Go to town on these known scammers and tell them what you think...I did and they hung up. Be warned this is a known fraud.

I just missed a phone call from (07) 3040 8636 and I tried calling back but got the message : " sorry your call could not be connected at this time, please hang up and try again later". I'm not going to try again later

Some accident hotline, when I started asking him questions about my apparent accident, he hung up. Complete Scammers.

Call from "Accident Help Line" regarding an accident in the last two years. I told the caller that I was killed in that accident. She hung up.
