Caller: (07) 3027 0000 Can confirm it is from Telstra. Received a call as a 'valued subscriber' to see if there were ways to improve my home wifi. I have installed repeaters myself so I didn't take them up on the offer by the seem legit.

Caller: Telstra Telstra Platinum about getting my NBN connection done sooner. I never answer numbers I don't know, but this one left a voicemail with explanation and 1800 number to call back on, so is legit.

Caller: Telstra Yes, appears to be a courtesy call from Telstra Platinum.
This is the message Telstra left on my mobile phone:
"Hello from Telstra Platinum. We gave you a courtesy call as a value subscriber to see if you'd like any tech assistance. You can call us anytime on 137587!"
I did not answer the call because I have been sitting at the computer for the past 30 minutes waiting for the Telstra "pay my bill" page to open. Managed to log into my account and it has been trying to load the bill pay service for the past 15 minutes. so far, unable to connect for 45 minutes.
Courtesy calls from Telstra are a waste of time.
