Individuals working for Debts Collector/Agency using or under different Names/Companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, Pantera, Credit Corp., Ecoll, etc... They're very Unprofessional, Unethical, Illegal and Shameful - somebody needs to do something about these shameful Companies regarding their Ethical Code of Conduct.

Have been calling for months saying family member owes money, for what, they wont say. Sound dodgy

Rang my mobile not commonly known when I asked how they got my number they stated from "public records"??? wanted me to approach someone on my street and put a note in their letterbox with their contact details and a reference number they identified the neighbor by name. They did not discourage me from having personal contact with this person when I stated would personally deliver the note and check if they still lived there. Imagine what a safety risk this could have been to myself if I had approached this person These kind of deceptive and intimidating practices involving an unsuspecting member of the public should not be allowed.

They leave message never say what company, always say call a 1800 number, then quote a reference number, further saying I owe them money, I have never dealt with them, they even had the audacity to send text message implying for discreet repayment with lions finance, errr that would be a negative, never heard of them till recently and certainly have not applied for any loan with them

Receiving harassment on continual basis from debt collectors, use names eg: Lion Finance, Dun Bradstreet, credit co. etc...... we are senior citizens being harassed on a daily basis, calls come from many different phone numbers belonging to debt collector agencies.... we have repeatedly asked politely to have our phone numbers, home and 2 x mobile numbers deleted from their contact list chasing an individual for money, an individual who does not have access or ever had access to our private phone numbers. This is nothing short of harassment in the worst degree, no wonder some people take matters into their own hands when they are harassed daily.

Some bumbling Indian with poor...something about a nz student loan from 25 years ago that i knew nothing about...claiming i owe over 100k...lol...um sure sounds legit...

Called for Payroll or HR department and ask for paying back debts?? claim they are from COH group of what ever, trying to trick you that you are owing money and they are debt collecting company chase for that... rude scammer, block block block

keep calling and harassing my ex employer, despite being told to stop calling. Bottom feeders preying on a database of contacts and with no real entitlement to any debt collection. No different to a marketing company buying peoples email addresses, except way more corrupt. Take the call and record it, tell them you are recording, never give DOB ever ever to any request over the phone.

Got a call from this number
Asked my name and it was correct
They told me the date of birth and it was wrong by 1 day
They hung up when I told them it was wrong
I called back and demanded to know who they were
They wouldn’t tell me
After a few minutes of making them answer my questions they tried to make me confirm my details again
And claimed they must have the wrong person and assured I wouldn’t get another callback

Thay call me and ask me private questions for my ex partner and before few days they call me from mobile number when I call back they off the mobile

Receive numerous calls but they never leave a msg!

Never leave a message as they would be non-compliant with the numerous ethical guidelines they must follow, in addition to being in breach of the consumer protection laws - the ACCC Guidelines for Debt Collectors.
