Got a call from this phone number, person called Richard called he was asking for my partner... when i asked what company he represented he refused to give the name of the company, saying it was confidential information and that he couldn't discuss it. Even gave me some reference number.

Apparently someone with the same last name, but different first name, uses our landline number but lives in QLD, we live in WA. That's dodgy in itself. The only reason I got that information was because I refused to hand over any of my details, and I will continue to. I think I might pretend to be another scam artist fishing for details, or repeat what ever she says. Let's get creative.

They called looking for a person named Scott, and have called three times in the last week. Each time I have asked them to remove my number but they still fricken call back. They are 'Lion Finance'...very annoying. Don't bother answering because you can hardly understand them through their accents!

This number is from a debt collection company (Vultures) Lion Finance. They try and make there money by buying unpaid money loans and broken contracts off finance companies, telecommunications companies etc. and chase up the person's name on the contract and try to collect the debt plus extra costs.

A definite scam, after arguing with a female who kept asking for my date of birth then address to discuss a private matter, with my excuse for not giving any information to her being, I don't give away information to people I don't know and she wouldn't give me any information about a company she was with. She then hung up saying, ok we will send information to call back to your mobile, I have no mobile lol

They called looking for someone by my husbands name saying they were trying to help him out with a private business matter and was he around 36 years of age. No, not that age, OK, must be someone else and finished the call.

haha, I get so many calls on my landline from this number and others and I only need my landline phone for the internet or urgent calls out for kids etc! So who has my number? only the scammers, telemarketers and freaks!
I have a message answering machine which filters all these calls, so if by chance someone I know wants to leave a message they can but the freaks opt out as soon as it clicks in and they hang up everytime...
Or if I am bored or I want to have some fun then I answer and let the games begin and I just waste their time which means less time for them to call others and scam them :)

Asked me about someone else living in my street. Wanting to know if they still lived at that address as they had lost contact and wanted to discuss a private business matter. I suggested they write to them about their private business matter

Strangest call ever. The lady asked me to confirm my date of birth to verify I was the correct person in order to discuss a personal matter with me. After telling her no, she asked if I lived in a particular suburb and if I was around 22 years old.
