I didn't answer the call...I don't if it's not in my contacts !! Going by the comments on the number obviously dodgy...can't imagine the Bank of Queensland giving some person the go ahead to ring people not in their system plus not leave a message !! So another dodgy scammer at work !!

This is Collection House Group. Random call trying to locate someone I don't know. When asked who they were they simply hung up. A called back, they didn't believe me. Totally unprofessional.

Seems to chase my debts, but i have no debt, no mortgage.
Providing me confidential private info and ask me if that's me.

I asked her about how they grab my info, they say they are using "Detective Desk" to do the job.

I hung up once I've had these info.

Same experiance as many of the others. Multiple missed calls with no message. These clowns are just fishing using white pages or paid databases.

Rang asking for my DOB and other personal details - I told her I would not give those details over the phone. She told me to call back and quoted me a reference number. I have no loans from this company so I don't know why they would be chasing debt from me?

They have called and hungup before I answered twice, called the number to be put on hold and them not stating the company name. Dodgy....

Yes, I had the same issue... I asked for written notice to the address provided on their system, to which I was told they would not progress in this manner only via phone after I provided the personal information. Dodgy practises!

This was a collection agency working on behalf of BOQ.

A young woman has rung up 2x in past 8 weeks asking for a person who I have never heard of but shares the same surname.I expect they are just going through the phone book & calling anyone with this surname.When I stated she had called before she denied it & said she was trying to contact a young man about 28 years old.

just for others to know, i was the same - figured i'd call back and see what the issue was.

It's the financing/collections department for BOQ(maybe for others too).

if you have a loan/finance with them and missed a payment by accident or for whatever reason, these guys will call you a day or two after the missed payment.

Elliot is their 'code' for a certain type of call back the guy i spoke to explained.

i got a call from this number cos i bought a dell computer on finance from them. Another company overdrew my account on which i get this deducted from and made me default on the payment. easily resolved and no penalty.

It's just a call to figure out if you are aware of the missed payment and so they can organise another payment.

Yes they harass and call whenever they want, but its a bank. they'll do whatever they bloody can to get their money.
