Caller: Guy saying he was from AUSTRAC This number (07) 2139 7470 called me last night and said they were from…
AUSTRAC - Australian Transaction, Report and Analysis Centre which I have never even heard of!
Calling looking for my son then quoting my very old email address
Saying there had been fraud committed with this email and something to do with a fraudulent gambling site…I have no idea what they were talking about and haven’t used that email for more than 10 years!
They mentioned Fx profits which I’ve never heard of either! Very strange and I’m assuming it was some sort of scam but I’m not sure what ?!?
