Asked for business owner by name and said that it was regarding a contract with another local business and "he would know what it was about"

Caller: Ray

Asked for business owner by name who is retired. He asked when he would be in next and I said not at all. He then asked who the person in charge was. I asked what it was regarding? Name dropped some local companies and CEO names saying they do work with them and was advised to contact us. We phoned the company he named and they did not know him and didn't refer anyone to us. kept attempting to get through to management but would not say where he was phoning from. Only information he would give is his name is Ray and wouldn't leave a message.

Caller: Mark from PH Group

The most unprofessional call, just name dropping and flat-out lying trying to get through to the CEO. The worst tactics I've heard on a call. Have been sharing the recording around as it's so blatent.

Caller: Frank

Keeps calling with same sales speel doesn't even acknowledge you have told him numerous times that it is of no interest or he has spoke to you before.

Caller: Mark, Frank etc. from PH Group

Same stories as above, trying multiple angles to get through, pretending to know CEO, directors etc. From reception:

"Hi , Mark from PH Group called again saying that he's spoken to (CEO) and (CEO) has advised him to speak with you on the phone... Even said he missed a call from us late last night (big lie???). Anyway, I said you're walking into a meeting and I'll pass on this message.

If you do want to speak with him, you can call him back on (07) 2113 9500."

(that's his assistant's number apparently lol who will transfer you directly to him. Mark didn't have a work mobile to provide - superrrr sus)

Caller: Frank from PH Group

They called asking who the owner was - using old owners name and new, dead giveaway if you don't know the owners name 3.5 years after they took over.
Asked them what they were calling about, originally they mentioned a brand we sell, then they said "Its Frank from PH Group if you can put the owner on the phone". I again asked what for as the owner was too busy to which they replied "Its about "competing business name", perhaps that'll prompt him to come to the phone", to which I responded it would not and I would take a message to see if the owner wanted to call them back. Nothing but a scam call, have never interacted with them and they certainly do not represent any business we deal with.
