Indian male claimed to be calling on behalf of Visa/Mastercard for my bank regarding an overdue payment

VERY DANGEROUS SCAMMER...I am fearful for the elderly who could get caught in a terrible trap with this Scammer.
Indian male introduced himself as being from TELSTRA and proceeded to tell me that there is evidence that an International organization has tried to hack my computer connected to the Internet. I asked him for his TELSTRA ID (name) for which he did not reply, then I asked him for his telephone number for which he asked me why I needed it....would not provide any of the details. I very loudly told him he was nothing but a scammer and that I had his number and that I would report him. He threatened to report me & I promptly told him he was a Farking Ididot as I have no internet on my number . Told him to never call back.

Claimed to be from Telstra offering a discount on my bill for being a loyal customer. Told me my phone number and email address - BUT I don't have any accounts with Telstra... When I mentioned this he hung up.

Saying that my services will be shut off in 2 hours if I don’t press 1

Caller: I don’t know

No voice , hangs up

Caller knew my name. Avoid at all costs - threatening recovery action if Mastercard account not paid immediately. Don’t have a Mastercard account.

Automated message claiming to Paypal advising me of a $700 payment being attempted.

Automated call stating it was Paypal and asking to select a number to respond.

No message was left. I called back and an automated voice message said, “Voicemail is full goodbye.” Call was ended.

Caller: Female first then male

Had the same number call re NBN upgrading in the area......transferred to a male and I said I don't trust anyone with an Indian or like accent as possibly a scammer, said I was being racist and then I hung up only to be called by another male with an accent who said he was from the Human rights commission using a similar phone number (07) 2113 2468. Hung up on him too.
