Call comes up saying Brisbane, Queensland.
Caller was a female and muttered when saying who she is calling on behalf of.
Was clear as a bell when saying that she was calling about my internet connection.

I got a recorded message that said it was PayPal asking me to authorise a payment or register it as a scam. Thank you for the comments here. I now know for certain that this was a fraudulent call.

Getting real tired if this number ringing and hanging up 3 calls today

Phone automatically detected this number as spam plus 2 others - all left no message

Caller: Saying it is from Telstra

They call saying there is a problem with my account (the account that i don’t have) and when i said i know this is a scam call they said “shut up” and hung up !!!!

Answered call and no one there, call it back and it goes straight to busy tone

This number is from scammer claiming to be credit card security saying that there has been a $900 international transaction and they were going to block that transaction via a "customer assist" app.

Caller: I don’t know

No message, I didn’t pick up, as reported most likely scam

Indian guy said he was from Visa and asked if I had made a charitable donation of $2000 to New Zealand. Said they could only hold up the payment for a short time. I asked him what were the last 4 digits of the credit card and he said he was not allowed to tell me. Decided it was a scam and hung up. I don’t know what the scam was. Should only hear from your bank about such a problem: not from Visa.

Woman with Indian accent introducing herself as Debbie calling from
RhevVisa Mastercard fraud centre. Did you authorise a payment for $900 about half an hour ago. I sad no and she hung up immediately.

they called again twice today we do not know the number so we do not answer and do not care

Recorded message saying that they were from VISA and there was a charge for $900 that was suspicious because I had not purchased crypto before and to press 1 or 2 (for allowing or rejecting) ignored and let it play without pressing anything and call ended.

Clearly my voice was not their targetted audience, classic for scammer with fraudulent activity. Avoid sharing info with these people

Male Asian on other line saying there was a PayPal payment of 700$ but I don’t even have a PayPal account.

Called and left no voice mail. Based on these comments it’s like scam.

Called at 4:55PM with phone saying it's from Brisbane. Hung up right after I picked up.

No response when answered

Caller: Claimed to be from some internet company

Claimed my internet was faulty. Asked me to download programs onto my computer so they can repair it.
