Said Amazon, I need to give more information to receive my order. I haven’t ordered anything. I don’t have account with Amazon.

Caller: Claimed to be from nbn

Claiming to upgrade my connection to fibre..threatened to disconnect my connect my line and mobile when I acused this as a scam call . Told him to go ahead and hung up.

Recorded message said UPS tried to deliver parcel multiple times. Press 1 for... Seriously???!!!

wanting information about my internet, she told me my internet wasn't working properly when it is. As soon as I said we have an IT group that look after us she hung up.

Pre recorded message about PayPal payments

Based on above reports am assuming it was a scam call. Rang & no msg left so blocked it as not expecting call from Qld. Also, received email from former internet provider Tangerine that they had breach & 250K customer's data accessed. So, unless it's a number I recognise I let it go to msg bank. If no msg is left I'm blocking the number...

Recorded voice claiming to be from PayPal. Hung up and blocked.

SCAM. Just had a call, claiming to be from iinet. Poor line, very poor English. Said that they are receiving lots of 'errors' on my connection. My connection is fine. He had a lot of personal detail like address, email, etc. Tried to convince me to download some app, connect to them.

I cut it off there.

I cut it off there. The only reason I listened to him as long as I did is that I am expecting some communication from iinet, but I am now convinced it is unrelated.
SCAM BUSTARDS

Caller: (07) 2113 2473

The call came up on my phone as Potential Fraud, the man that called didn't say his name. He said that he was calling from the Visa and Mastercard credit card department from Exhibition St, Melbourne CBD. He said that there had been two transactions from my account in the hundreds (he mentioned two different monetary amounts). I said to him, "I don't believe you." He hung up the phone. I tried calling the number back and the call wouldn't connect.

Didn’t answer the call. Went straight here to check. I have fa few items on order from Amazon so. Lucky me.
