Caller: Said he was calling from Microsoft

Phoned 5 times from 4 different numbers about a bigpond account I haven’t had for years. Knew my birthdate and said hackers were using that email account for some bad deeds. Caller had an Indian accent..

Knew it was a scam call so didn’t answer had missed called this week from (07) 2113 2454, (07) 2113 2484 and (07) 2113 2488

Caller: No idea, I didn’t answer

Variations of this 07 2113 2xxx number showing up on my landline lately. Like with any number I don’t recognise, I don’t answer. If it’s real, they’ll leave a message, This mob don’t, so I just delete them. Not hard to do. After a couple of times I just block them. No problems.

Caller: Alan Frank

Guy with middle eastern accent said his name was Alan Frank & that he was with Telstra & there had been several faults showing up with our internet access. I asked him what address he was at with Telstra & he replied 242 Exhibition St Brisbane. He knew my email address.
I told him that due to so many scams I would not discuss anything with him, but call Telstra myself to check any faults.

Claiming to be from CBA, automated computer voice calling herself Olivia. Total scam

A guy with an Indian accent (of course) told me he was calling from the Government cyber security. He knew my name. I told him that wasn't me. He said that for the past few days, they had noticed that my number was being used to set up accounts in my, and other peoples name. Wanted me to do all sorts to let them help me stop this!! I asked too many questions about who he worked for and where, in Australia, he was calling from. He hung up! When the bloody hell is our government going to do something about these scammers? An older person may have given him the information he was trying to get. It's disgraceful!

Caller: Indian Scam call center pretending to be NBN

Indian Scam call centre pretending to be NBN- stating they had recorded bad internet speeds, requesting I run speed tests & at that point I commenced asking questions, I asked them to identify where their Qld head office is located & he gave me my old address from 15 years ago (coincidently when I was with Telstra, so it's likely Telstra's customers information has been breached), I asked him to identify my current internet provider & he couldn't. I then asked to speak with his supervisor & he hung up. (You will hear the motorbike horns & large call centre noise in the background). The objective is to get you on a computer so they can take over to reset your "speed" & steal your computers data.

Pest caller on Good Friday….probably a non-Christian….SCAM!

Automated voice claiming to be from PayPal asking for authorisation for purchase, or to report as scam press “x” … I hung up!

Didn’t answer. Left a voice message in Chinese and robotic

Called and didn’t answer

Caller: Nobody answered

Nobody answered and when I rang back it cut off

Recorded message claiming to be from Amazon. Immediately knew this was a scam call so cancelled it. Number now blocked.

There was a long pause then they hungup without any message

Received scam call from this number from an automated voice about a visa charge for a card I don’t even have.
