Caller: Telstra allegedly

I received a call from this number - allegedly issue with my internet connection. kept carrying on with the speel.

Rang landline - answered call but nothing heard. When rung back using a private mobile phone, get a recorded message of "Cannot accept incoming messages at this time". SCAM CALLERS for sure.

And yeas, Brisbane numbers do not start with 07 2113!.

Caller: Visa card

Recorded message from VISA security apparently!! A purchase of Crypto currency on my card that looks suspicious. Gave the option of selecting 1 or 2 to cancel the transaction or to let it proceed. I found this page and the information in the comments is very helpful. Thanks for posting these everyone, they give reassurance for that tiny element of doubt I had in my mind.

Had a call from this number, it was unknown to me so I did not answer. No message left so assumed it was a scam. Now blocked after reading other comments re this number.

This is well used scam number! Similar to many: I didn't recognise the number so didn't answer but the recorded message advised an AUD $50 gift card had been purchased and press 1 etc. Number has been blocked.

Answered this call and an automated voice kept repeating what i was saying ie "hello". Thanks everyone for reporting this number. Getting more and more scam calls every day

Assuming a Scam call. Called saying 'Maam, I am just calling to chat to you about NBN". I don't have NBN. Hang up on them straight away.

Don’t answer scammer!

Called twice in quick succession shortly after two similar attempts from another number(02) 5303 1524 Bathurst) this one supposedly from QLD I don't answer numbers I don't recognise and no message left

A female started waffling about some transactions saying they were from Visa Mastercard ?????.So why are you calling me they hung up.

This call showed as coming from Brisbane, Qld. When I answered there was a long delay, then a woman's voice told me that she was from the Visa security department and that my card had been used for two overseas transactions, one for $500 and the other for $350. I told her that it was all OK because I had loaned my card to my daughter, who was travelling overseas. There was a short silence, then the call was terminated from the other end. Definitely a scam.

Very strong accent, saying they were going to disconnect our Telstra.
We wished them luck and hung up.

Caller: Said they were from Visa or Mastercard.

When I said I don’t have either so why are you calling me, they hung up.

This number is a SCAM.
After letting it ring a few times, I answered and instantly a female recording started about “transaction” etc.. blah blah.
I hung up!

Definitely a scam call. Now blocked.

Didn't answer as i didn't know this number and it went through to my voicemail and a lady with an 'accent' kept saying hello about 5 times then hung up.
Noting the accent I suspect scam.

Couldn't understand what they were saying, asked if they were a scammer and they hung up.
