Caller: Robert Brown Alex

Scammers with what appeared to have an Indian accent. First day rang from a “Melbourne” number. Left a phone message, saying someone used my PayPal account, and $299.99 was direct debt from my credit card/account, for me to call them back to get the transaction refunded back to my card. I rang the scammer back, he said to download a app called ‘Splash SOS’ , so he could upload an application form on my phone screen, to get my details to reverse the PayPal transaction. Basically to ‘clone my phone’, and the scammer be able to see all informations on my phone. I ranged up. But, I’ve rang back and asked what was his name, he noticed getting caught on his scam, and said his name was “Robert Brown” from “NSW 2000”. Located at “Market Street”. Obviously someone not in Australia or at least not in NSW or Melbourne. Then I’ve Asked to speak with his supervisor, he claimed he had many supervisors, someone appeared to picked up the phone very quickly from his hand, and this second person claimed to be a supervisor, said his name was “Alex”. Said he was from PayPal and someone had used my credit card the night before, and $299.99 was used for a purchase, and they wanted to give me a refund. I called them scammers, and I was calling the police, they quickly hanged up. Next day , another phone call around same time, about 4pm, obviously calling from overseas, or interstate. Message left on my voicemail mail again, this time phone number showed to be from “Brisbane”. Message left to press “1 for a refund” or “2 to speak with an operator”, said it was from Ebay and they were calling to give me a refund. Once again same/similar scam, pretending to be PayPal and than EBay. I’ve rang the scammers back , and I lost it! Then a women answered the phone , all appeared to have Indian accents. So, they want to clone your phone and get your details. I have rang PayPal, they informed they have never rang me , they are scammers trying to clone my phone. I changed all my passwords. Deleted some accounts and restarted my phone. Do not answer! Do not give your details! I hope they get caught! SCAMMERS l!
