This was identified - by Telstra - as a scam call.

Be careful scammers are out in force presently!!!!

Scam. Dont Answer, quickly switch phone to flight mode. This way they cannot leave voicemail and get a recording to say the number is unavailable (but note that wont stop them from calling again!!). I often see comments here where ppl complain they are on the do not call list - not that scammers are criminals, they don't comply with do not call list.

I believe this number is a scam caller. I let it ring until it goes to my voicemail, however the caller didnt leave any message. Blocked and deleted.

Claimed to be calling from VODAFONE - I hung up

With all this technology I don’t know how TELSTRA allow this or issue this numbers , I get any where 4 to 12 calls a day which I’m forced to not answer . I keep blocking the numbers, from th 3/9/23 to 29/3/23 I had 43 calls
Where do they get this numbers does Telstra issue them ?

I did not pick up and blocked and deleted it. I checked this website to see I made the correct decision. Any unknown number that calls me, I await a voice message first to see if it is from an unknown genuine number. Thanks so much for your website informing people like me I made the correct decision! SCAM Keep phoning my unlisted number?? Telstra, how do they get my # am on the don't call list!!! If you pick up immediately press ###### and it cancels you out!
